If any of you are ever in Cape Town head out to Pearl Valley, its a little bit expensive but there are plenty of other good courses including Milnerton, my club where a round will cost you around 20 quid.

Was out in Cape Town in 2016, but was on honeymoon so didn’t get the chance to play.

Lost opportunity that. Some top courses around here  and great prices when converted to GBP. Wind can be a bitch though.

I picked up my clubs for the second time in 5 years today - the one other being in Cape Town ahead of my mates wedding two winters ago.

 

the place near harrogate I stayed Tuesday night has a little 6 hole par-3 course near the driving range so went round that for 40 mins on Tuesday before we could check in, and then hit a hundred balls at the range this morning after checkout.

 

should've done it the other way round really as I was hopeless yesterday, albeit I was also a half bottle of Prosecco down so that might’ve had some part to play.

 

inspired to get out again soon though. Thoroughly enjoyed it.

Been to Torrey Pines a number of times, great area - but lets face it - having the tourney on West Coast time sucks balls. It will be another hour before the leaders tee off and they won't finish before the hockey.
