I tend to get quite emotional over stuff these days (it's an age thing, i think) and at the end of the first episode. where that fella was speaking about the loss of his six year old son (at the 25 year memorial service?) had me all over the place, i'm not going to lie.

Ooooh you big girl. I didn't find that bit, erm, "emotional" at all. No siree. I just cried me tits off. I don't think it's an age thing. I'm only 22. And a bit. ish.

I got told off on here for getting "emotional" in the first episode of The Queen's Gambit and that made me "emotional" too. I'm such an emotional loser.

I just don't think i'm very good at dealing with the idea of kids dying. Or animals being abused. Or even listening to certain types of music (the Interstellar soundtrack got to me the other day, for crying out loud - pardon the pun). To be honest, i came off prozac last year after 6 years and in all honesty it's good to feel any emotions at all. I'm enjoying the fact that i get upset as much as i get happy.

Same here, anything that involves bad things happening to children or animals absolutely nails me.

Everyone should have a good cry sometimes.

HBO have a new two-part documentary on Tiger Woods. I just watched the first half and it was quite good.

Wish they'd have waited a bit. He's still playing and winning tournaments FFS. Ok,so the 18 holes he's in and out of these days often aren't surrounded by pubic hair but he's doing ok.

The Chapman/Lennon one on Sky docs wasn't particularly great. No new insight, seemed like just a load of drone shots of cars travelling along roads and Chapman is still a self centred dick who got what he wanted.

I really enjoyed the Bee Gees one though, and i'm not exactly a fan of theirs.

Just watched the first part of that, very insightful, definitely worth a watch for golf fans. Will watch the second part tomorrow.

Just finished that Night Stalker one on Netflix. Typical of Netflix that they drag it out over four hours, when it could easily have been edited into half of that. Decent enough, though, although the amount of times that they fixate on the "footprint" is quite astonishing. He should have been jailed for wearing the meffiest trabs in the world anyway.

The Dissident. Slightly over long but well framed story 8/10. I came away thinking what can the man in the street do about this if governments ultimately turn a blind eye.

Not a conspiracy theorist but what I took out of it was if the Saudis successfully hacked the phone of richest man in the world then I am pretty sure governments are spying on our phones (probably legally because of terrorism threat).
