The Brian Butterfield pod-pod-podcast (there is only one episode) is pant-wettingly funny, if you are a Peter Serafinowicz or Rob Delaney fan. The Butterfield character cracks me up enormously.

The diet one makes me howl.

Top Flight Time Machine

Just 'bants', but I find it genuinely entertaining, I especially like the 'deep dives' on things like the Roy Keane book, Melchester Odyssey, and Kevin Keegan's 1980's ITV documentary.

Those Conspiracy Guys

Interesting, funny, long, Irish, good.  Obviously all about conspiracy theories and related oddities and the macabre.

TIFO Football Podcast

It's football in the broad sense, and it's often funny without taking itself seriously.  Up against a lot of other football podcasts, and believe me I've tried a lot of them, but this one doesn't annoy or bore me.

Explaining History

For me it hits the sweet spot of historical event podcasting.  Short episodes, chronological, simple to follow.

Honourable mentions...

Armchair Expert with Dax Shepherd

You're Wrong About

Smartless

Rolling Stone magazine Podcast

Clinton Baptiste Paranormal Podcast

Gossipmongers is good, it's Joe Wilkinson and his mate reading out funny stories usually involving wanking or errant turds and rate their favourites. Give it at least a couple episodes because some stories are pretty tame while others are fucking brilliant

There’s a new pod cast on woody harrelson and his brother talking about their hitman father. Only one episode but heard good things.

This sounded cool but couldn't find it on podbean, what's is called?

Edit: Found it now - it's called Son of a Hitman

Did anyone watch the Neil Ruddock one on Billy Moore. He put the pound coin thing to bed. Darren Smith is great, though i hope he doesnt keep getting him on. The first podcast with him was easily the best.

Billy Moore? Is that the guy that got jailed in a Thai prison?

Yeah that him, the all or nothing podcast isnt it?

Dunno mate never listened to it.

I've heard him on a few others. Outside of sporting podcasts I generally only listen to James English, Shaun Attwood and Joe Rogan.

Oh they had a belting story that reminded me off one from here. There was some guys grandma, an old dear who lived in a small town in Gloucestershire and she would always bring up how this friend of her husband had stolen his prize tools from his shed on family occasions. After both the grandparents had passed away, grandma was second, they decided to check out if any tools were left and it did look like a few were missing from their usual spots in the shed.

Grandma passed away 2nd and when arranging her funeral there was a list of who was invited. Top of the list was the tool thief, his name...Fred West!

Started with the Always Sunny podcast recently, they supposedly are discussing the episodes one by one, but generally seem to end up spending about 5 minutes talking about the actual episode and the rest just generally chatting.

It's a bit like a really tame version of the actual show at times as they spend a decent amount of the time just shooting the shit.
