I’ve never listened to one of Buxton’s podcasts before as I’ve pretty much nearly a hundred others to catch up with.

I pick and chose on Joe Rogan. The Mike Tyson one was great, really good mix of conversation. It’s pretty messed up how he was conditioned as a young child to be a fighting machine.

Its funny

Everyone screams how Don King was a cunt and ruined Tyson, how if Cus lived longer he would have been fine. Its bullshit. You read about his upbringing with Cus and Cus comes across as a bitter old man, willing to let all sorts go if Tyson made him a champion trainer again. Cus failed when he fired Atlas for threatening Tyson after he sexually assaulted his neice. 

 

Joe seems to have jumped off the deep end with his weird friends a while back. He cant even hold a interview these days with soneone he doesn't agree with. Shame as it was a good and interesting show before. Lost respect when he went fullbon Jon Jones apologist and UFC shill with his interview with him

Bit late to the party but The Times football podcast is very good, that Barry Glendenning is quite funny at times despite his dour tone.

 

I always find Frank Skinners podcast as good filler if you just want some background noise, it's very light-hearted.

 

Rogan I listening to very sparingly now but he still has the odd good guest, a lot of his episodes are his equally unfunny comedian mates. I like Rogan but he's a shite stand-up.

I wouldn’t say it’s gone to shit.
 

Max Rushden is a lot better than he was on Soccer AM but he’s no Jimbo I agree. 
 

BD can be entertaining at times the miserable bastard and they have some excellent guests on.

Not sure if they have already been mentioned, but Do the right thing and rule of three are both funny as fuck and got me through the last few months at work. One is a comedy panel show, the other is comedy writers dissecting a comedic piece eg film, series etc.
