Thank heavens for Simon Hughes of the Independent.  Otherwise we might have a baseball coach in charge of the Liverpool Lions.

Simon Hughes signed Klopp.

So what, James Blunt stopped World War 3.

I support LFC not FSG FC

We all do. I don’t deny the lack of transfer activity is frustrating, disheartening even when you see our rivals all spending >£100m.

I’d love the signings we want signed today but we’ve been told this is the scenario all along.

There is still 4 weeks to go get. We have more than enough to win every game in August. We’re better assessing out squad on 1st September.

But where is the line drawn?  Klopp works absolutely in cahoots with FSG - there's no artificial Irish-type border there.   Klopp ain't no slave.

FSG getting that massive half billion cash injection is as good as on-field success in my opinion, especially knowing that Lebron rocks up on tv in a Liverpool jacket every once in a while.

We'd all like FSG to spend zillions more on players.  I don't expect them to.

Quick boys. Someone’s said a bad against St John of Boston

It's not though. I gave you a reasonable response. I'm getting frustrated as well but we were told this would be the situation all along. Let's see where we are on 1st September.

For avoidance of doubt, if we finish the window with the same squad as we currently do, I'll be very pissed off.

I do think that Simon Hughes article is somewhat fanciful though.

What will happen is we will leave until the last week of the window, make it look like we are trying to buy players and then the propaganda will get unleashed about selling clubs wanting too much money and we've saved millions for next year

Renewing contracts is the new signing players.

To be fair Hicks and Gillette used to do this fairly consistently, an import from US sports.

Don't forget Keita doing a stepover in training, too.

Scratch the previous comment Not all of us, i would wager a pound to a pinch of Rainbow unicorn shit that you would prefer the club to fail rather than succeed with FSG in charge
