They’re gobshites no question but it’s not all on them, Thiago has been a terrible signing and Klopps management has been shite, sorry but it has, nothing can excuse this form.

Did Klopp injure his first choice Centre Backs? He he injure the 3rd and 4th and then the 5th as well? What the fuck do you expect him to do?

We can blame whoever, but the reality is, it's a collective club and squad failure. You've got poor squad planning, bad management of injuries, first eleven players on the decline, squad players who can't ever stay fit and who we probably won't be able to sell. Been an epic shitshow on every level.

It isn't bad squad planning, Jota looked like excellent fucking squad planning and then got injured. Thiago got brutalised in the first Derby before he could do what he was bought to do and returned to a side stinking the place out because the heart of our side has been ripped out. Jones are integrated in the first XI, thats 3 players plus a back up left back. Any more than than that is reckless.

We are top of the injuries and VAR against charts in the worst possible season. Our game needs vocal backing for fans and its been robbed from us. Its been a perfect storm that I wish would just fucking end.

When do we stop making excuses and throwing the blame round to everyone but the manager who trains and picks the team and the players who aren’t delivering week after week.

Why is that every other team has to adapt with adversity with a squad half as talented as ours yet we have to carry on crying after every game.

There’s been an attitude problem with us all season and it’s took root now and we can’t get out of it.

We were excuse FC for years until Klopp put a stop to it and now we’ve gone back to square 1.

Yep. Not buying anyone or planning for the future after the Champions League win 2 years ago was criminal. We won the league yes but we have basically been shite just before Watford beat us 3-0. The majority of people on here called it saying we were lucky with injuries and our players have been run into the ground.

There seems to be no urgency or desire at the club to build on anything. All that seems to matter is running a tight ship and trying to outsmart the other clubs by spending as little as possible.

Now we are going to regress big time if we finish outside the top 4 because these mingebags aren't doing anything without the extra money it brings. Bot that it makes any difference anyway because we spend fuck all when we are in it.

You do wonder if they were planning to sell before covid fucked with the programme, pump and dump.

What players attitudes are you questioning?

The bad squad planning is persevering with too many players who are injured all the time. It's meant we have no real depth or margin for error. I agree with the recruitment this summer. It was fine.

Apart from Virgil, the 2 full backs, Gini and the front 3 we’ve got a squad full of injury prone players.

The last two years transfer wise have been really poor (Jota aside) Thiago has always had injury problems he's also 29 years old hardly building long term Van Der berg was a 17 year old kid who might have made it but looks way out of his depth so far Elliot looks a player but again maybe not for a few more years. We now have a squad with its big starts all approaching 30 or just turned 30 with no one to come in and replace them or even to push them piss poor transfer policy it's king of here and now or in 5 years.

If there’s a slight cause for optimism it’s that their net spend tended to be higher before we’d ever qualified for the CL under them, so any hope I have of them not fucking Klopp over this summer lay with those early seasons. Even factoring in COVID, given all we’ve won in recent seasons it definitely wouldn’t speak well for how they’ve supposedly revamped the club and made it a corporate behemoth if we couldn’t spend at this most pressing of times, would it?!

After January’s dereliction of duty, however, I think it’s more likely that they don’t do enough and Klopp either walks or they sack him if we’re not top four by October. It’ll then either be a too-smart-by-half gamble on a young English manager (might be too early for Gerrard, but how does Eddie Howe’a Liverpool sound?!) or a faded European name to quell dissent, only without the £100m net spend he usually gets.

If we assume Klopp isn't completely done for, there's no reason why we couldn't sell and replace a couple key players and go again. We've fucked up, but it's not cause for complete depression.

He won’t be wanting to stick around here for another 3 year rebuild.

It is the case for depression for those of us who've seen this cycle over and over again for the last 40 years. Not strengthening from a position of strength was the exact mistake every older fan,and younger ones too, warned against and lo and behold here we are.

Was talking about this the other day funnily enough. Apart from Robertson, (maybe) Trent, Van Dijk, Wijnaldum ( gone in the summer) and the front three, the rest are gingerbread men. It’s unbelievable.

We tried to strengthen in the summer. We bought Jota and Thiago. Probably should’ve bought a centre half as well but they obviously thought they could get away with it, with  Fabinho being a competent centre half, but obvious it hasn’t worked. I don’t think we’re a million miles away either... a proper number 9 and a reliable centre half then we’ll be challenging again.

Clear as day that whilst the defensive injuries have fucked us and left us short in midfield we desperately need something different in attack.

Whether that be a big strong bully type, i.e haaland or someone of that ilk or another attacking midfielder type player. Feel strongly that we need some aggression though. Powder puffs right now. Fsg won't spend whether we're in CL or not. So who gives a fuck quite frankly.

Yeah, I think the pertinent point here is that contracts mean fuck all.

Well, what it means is, he made an original commitment. So saying he doesn't want to do a rebuild is bogus because he literally signed up for that. Now if something bad happens and he goes at some point, so be it. This stuff happens.
