Now I'm  confused.  You're the one who says Edwards deserves kudos; now you say he's shite?

Theres nothing confusing about it. Your giving credit to FSG for edwards and Jurgen.

Ive been arguing that Jurgen is the driving force for ALL of this. He's central to everything that goes on. Without him, none of this happens. Edwards is now doing is job because of Jurgen, because before it he was shite. Before Jurgen came in FSG were shite too.

Just feels like a lot of piggy backing on one guys genius, especially from our ownership. Oh and the Echo published another two pro FSG stories this morning. Talking about milking it.

Anyway you know my stance, lets just enjoy getting three points and a performance today.

So to sum up, the type of owner some people want is an usmanov \ ambramovic mega rich individual or, a nation state like Saudi Arabia or Abu Dhabi with shitloads of cash to throw around but adheres to Shank's socialist principles. Makes sense I guess.

I'd like to think that, by now, two things were established.

1. Rafa was better than the Owl.

2. It's not always wise to call for the removal of a manager/player/owners unless you've got a clear idea of how to replace them with an upgrade.

1. Never in question.

2. The calls would still be right, but there is obviously more to it than that. Kenny needed one year to win a trophy and get us to two finals. Klopp got us to finals instantly, needed some time to get his first win.

Its all been part of the journey that got us Klopp though, so I would not change any of it, even if I know it means years with Rodgers in charge.

No we want an owner who doesn't need to sell a player first. Thats it.

Seriously, what does it matter whether you sell a player first or after you've bought other players? Would we have got £142M for coutinho if we'd bought van dijk and allison first then announced to the world coutinho was available? At a guess, Id say not.

Did we sell to bring in Wijnaldum, Fabinho, Oxlade Chamberlane?

It sounds like some really want an owner who doesnt sell players full stop. That means an abramovic or nation state owners and even they sell, hazard, sane to name a couple.

Edwards and Klopp arrived by unicorn and installed themselves in the roles they now inhabit.

Good fucking job they did, as well. Luckily they managed to pull Werner away from h torturing rabbits in his cellar long enough to get the go ahead.

Has Venezuela got a sovereign wealth fund?

It’s our only hope.

Tight cunts need to get the Cheque book out in the summer but they've been fantastic for the club and people can't really complain. They have done exactly what they said they would.  Apart from the new stadium thanks christ.

No,I dont believe they do. They are content with what we have as long as they recognise that holding onto to titles you have won requires some investment in the playing staff. How they do that is their business provided the manager is happy with that, even if it is a sell to buy strategy. That has worked well before and should do again as Jurgen operated at Dortmund in a very similar way.

I'm not sure recognising a manager has had his day has to mean you think hodgson is a better choice, it's not like Cecil took his pick from a fans choice audition. I don't think many Liverpool fans thought hodgson was the answer to anything. I thought Rafa had gone way past his window of opportunity with us, but hodgson would not be a reason to sack Rafa. The 2 things are separate issues. In hindsight actually, hodgson was the best thing to happen to us. We wanted h&g gone and until hodgson turned up the majority of our fans sat on their hands and did fuck all about it. Hodgson was the catalyst that made it impossible for h&g to refinance the club.

If reports are to be believed, chelsea are looking to offload 6 players to fund the transfer of Havertz. Seems even if you have an abramovic as an owner you still have to sell to buy!

Can someone explain to me what is so bad about selling to buy? That's what 99% of football clubs need to do to run efficiently and to stay within financial guidelines. It's not a bad thing to strategically sell players to fund transfers or to sell good players once they feel like they don't want to be at the club anymore.

Im talking about getting rid of major players to fund decent buys.

This hasn't happened at all, save the Suarez transfer which was 6 years and one manager ago.

Other than Coutinho (who was doing everything he could to be sold) and Suarez (see Coutinho), when did that last happen?

Don't let facts get in the way of a good rant.
