The club has said the staff furloughed will receive 100% of their wages. A number of roles will be redundant right now and they’re safer at home. Probably means they can claim on government scheme as well.

There jobs aren't redundant, they're just on hold.  Should Klopp and the players be furloughed too?

Why is it football clubs are being made an example of. Why are the government not calling out mutiny national companies who have furloughed their staff and will also want bailouts and will still turn huge profits at the year end.

Dont get me wrong I dont agree what football clubs are doing but if everyone else is then why would they do any different. Government should have put better proviso's in.

Perhaps because they are the most blatant example of egregious financial inequality, hypocrisy and selfishness?

Just a thought.

But what about..?

Because they're an easy and convienant taget to distract from the absolute clusterfuck the Gov are making of this and the general public are fucking thick and will swallow any old shite?

while it might not of been the brightest move there are bigger companies with alot bigger turnovers furloughing staff and not paying the xtra 20%.But at the same time the Government have left this furlough idea way open to be abused by companies that can afford to take the hit and give it time all the other clubs will follow suit

Most people don't have common sense. The famous bullingdon boy picture that reeks of arrogance and privilege and we have made two of the cunts our leader. After everything Boris had done working class leapt to him regardless of his duplicity.  It's a nation that's herded by toffs.

I’ve been so fucking happy about footy for a few years now. I’ve not had as sick a feeling in my stomach about this club since we had the owl.

Completely undone year’s of work. This means more? Yeah for who you fucking twats.

There is worse BA parent company AIG 9.3 billion in cash reserves have done it . VA done it also looking bail out. Easyjet did it and paying Stellios 65 million dividend.

I would say we looked at above and thought why not. Piss poor decision we didn't have to do this.

I am done with this season could not give a toss now might as well be owned by a JRM offshore fund and I despise him with a passion.

Liverpool CEO Peter Moore Oct '19: "We had this historical figure, Bill Shankly, a Scottish socialist. Today when we speak about business questions, we ask ourselves: 'what would Shankly do?' Doubt he'd have said let the taxpayer pay some wages when you've just made £42m profit.

That's why it is worse than bigger companies. The hypocrisy is grotesque. Those words are comical and unspoofable.

The clowns have fucked up Klopp's whole era with this one bad decision. Thick, short-sighted, selfish, hypocritical cunts.
