Top six rivals net spend this summer(transfer market)

Arsenal = £102m

Spurs = £57m

Chelsea = £160m

Man United = £56m

Liverpool = £4m

Spot the odd one out. Not including City as it doesn't include Haaland agency fees

FSG are absolute fucking cunts

The Anny rd end redevelopment is all free of charge of course.

Yeah negotiations only start on the day the window opens.

Everything out there on the Diaz deal is that when he became available with one or two weeks left in the window, Spurs tried to sign him and we just went over them.

What is this 6 weeks thing? You made up a rule in the other thread that we're not allowed to sign two starting calibre players in the same window, forgetting we did so like 2 years ago. You just make stuff up.

Jota was never signed as first team player and you know it.

And in order to even do that we had to sacrifice several defenders meaning we had a disaster of a season. You're just deluded in your defence of FSG.

Diaz stuff is in Ljinders book

Jurgen Klopp seems genuinely happy with them as owners. He's been here six years and will thankfully be here for a few more. He seems a smart and honest fella. Do you reckon he believes that FSG limit his potential for success? Should he be more vocal about them and call them out as leeching frauds?

In fact, this question will never have a good answer. It flies in the face of every counter argument. It's the most consistently ignored fact out there when people criticize the owners.

Your arguments stink and make no sense.

Eddie Howe surely knows what the owners have done though, doesn't he? He surely knows that they had a journalist killed and dismembered. Or is he ignorant to that. Frankly that says a hell of a lot about Eddie Howe. The type of man that can take the Newcastle job on knowing full well who he is employed by. He's a disgrace.

He's as bad as those twats who jumped ship to LIV Golf.

@redknight said it best I think. Anyone thinking of taking the Saudi money should be made to go and attend the public executions and if after that they still want to work for them, fine. We'll all know exactly what they are and they can't plead ignorance.

So FSG are signing players of Jota's quality as squad options?

And you're bitching about that?

Here's me thinking that van Dijk, Gomez and Matip were injured playing or training: turns out they were sliced up on an altar to assuage the wrath of the Bostonian gods.

Makes perfect sense, when you think about it.

The fact is if Klopp wasnt here these frauds would have been run out of town just like the last lot were.

We seem to be the only club in the league that doesn't have a transfer budget. Klopp has to generate the money himself, which begs the question where has all this record breaking revenue the club has gone on avout gone?

Don't say Anny road or kirkby as they would have been financed through long term loans which would have easily been managed into the yearly accounts.

These cunts have taken the piss and its criminal that they have not given Klopp the backing he deserves.

There are no excuses for the lack of financial back year after year and the same leaks coming from the club every summer that next year will be the big one ect.

Make no mistake the success the club has had is down to Klopp and fuck all to do where these leaches.

Klopp has had ample opportunity to not be here by now and expose them. Wonder why he's stuck around. It must be the fans like yourself.

Or he enjoys a challenge, is successful here, loves the city, is settled etc.

He wouldn't dream of "exposing" them, I'm sure he doesn't even think like that.  It is not his way, especially if he's agreed to work under certain conditions (for reasons listed above) because he is a man of honour.

How is this related in any way to what I replied to you?

Its not. Klopp is committed to the club and the fans he's not committed to FSG. He is performing miracles with the amount of money he has been given compared to our rivals.

As if Klopp was happy with the lack of spending in 2020 when we needed defenders or even now despite what he might say publicly.

We have different opinions on FSG

 I think they are shite and full if shit. You obviously dont.

I'm sure he won't even think like that.  He's just signed a new contract which he went into with his eyes open.  But that doesn't mean the owners aren't tight and that we as supporters shouldn't utter a word of dissent.

No he shouldn't be more vocal because presumably, and as a man of honour, these are the financial conditions he has agreed to work under.

I don't think it's about opinions, it's about being fair.

Your usual rather caricatural spiel, and many other fans think this way, is that Klopp is getting nothing from them. Do you stay in a job for 7 years if you don't have any support from your employer, simply because you might like people you work with? That's a philosophical question where people will have differing opinions. I think a professional and high achiever to the level of Jurgen Klopp would not be here if he didn't feel adequately supported by ownership. He also is an emotional guy and might put more weight in the bond with the fans/the city etc.. than most, but his job is to be a manager. If he wasn't supported in that endeavour, he wouldn't have extended his contract.

My opinion is that FSG are competent owners because they have won titles in different sports and generally run a really competent ship. It's not like they're perfect. I think they have shown many times they lack aggressiveness and don't take a lot of calculated risks, which as a fan, is frustrating because you want your team to go all in. And that part, I get frustrated with. The midfield is a good example. We are not being aggressive and proactive in our recruitment there. But that's where Klopp plays a part too because his vision is quite similar. It's about continuity, training, being sound financially, making deals that make sense. That's where they are in lockstep, and what fans like you simply fail to mention.

“At a football club, there's a holy trinity - the players, the manager and the supporters. Directors don't come into it. They are only there to sign the checks.”

They're not even doing that.

Exactly that, you can’t lead ignorance to this and pretend you are unaware. The whole world is aware of what is going on over there yet we don’t act.

We continue to sell weaponary to them. It’s disgusting and those on their payroll are lowlife scum. But Eddie, he’s got a lovely smile and is a charming young English man. When in reality he’s a complete cunt who needs a good fucking hiding for his sins.

Stating the obvious here, but there wouldn’t be a bad word said against FSG if FFP rules were actually enforced. We’d also have a couple more league titles.

Anyway, what are people’s favoured human rights flouting oil states to make us more competitive whenever FSG sell up?

Not for me. Even if FFP was enforced us as a club just dont seem to spend when we need to. I'm not saying we should be spending hundreds of millions each summer.

Its the same story every transfer window.

"Next summer will be the big one"

"The club will wait until next summer to bring in x"

The midfield issue is a carbon copy of the defensive issues we had in the 2020 season. We went into the January transfer window, top of the league, needing defenders and they did nothing apart from brining in two stop gaps that were only brought in in the last minute with one never getting a game for us.

We have a 36 year old midfielder, multiple injury prone midfielders and this summer they needed to be addressed but they're done the same thing again they always do.

Klopp has funded his transfers again this summer through sales.

It wouldn't kill them to open up the cheque book just one summer and address the issues that are holding us back.

Its infuriating and coming out with the same excuses every year and its insulting to us fans.
