I think its always a bit infantile not to at least answer your constructive critics with a paragraph or two rather than having a hissy fit. Why do what you do otherwise?

Given he produces this content off his own back for free and across all premier league clubs plus clubs abroad I don't think he has to get involved in the politics of any fan base.

Let's be totally honest, we all know the type of shit he would have got for what is neither a defence or support of FSG, the endless hours spent in the gaps of what 'other' means and what can or can't be hidden in it while people shout at you because they've seen a table in the mirror that tells them the wage bill for all clubs is a fraction of what the accounts say so the accounts must be wrong.

Despite that he's still answered questions from people who were civil he's just told the the mewling quims who only want their biases confirmed to stop accusing him of lying and aiming abuse at him, seems reasonable to me.

I'm not sure he does it for free. He does it to get on SSN etc and make a nice career out of it. I don't knock him for it, fair fucks, but I don't think this is some sort of humanitarian project for the long term commercial benefit of world football.

He comes out at the end of every summer after FSG don't spend any money and defends them saying it's because we don't have any cash - but doesn't say why we don't have any cash and then blocks anyone who questions it or criticises FSG.

Oh yeah and John Henry personally follows him.

He's an accountant based out of Switzerland, he's been doing this for years. I've no idea how long he's been appearing on SSN but I wouldn't imagine his appearance money pays many bills. I've seen Wolfe of Wall Street, Accountancy in Switzerland, now that could pay handsomely.

The fact Swiss Rambler is an arse fan, does a financial breakdown of a shitload of other clubs and sometimes appears on SSN \ BBC, it's laughable, no sorry, paranoia to the extreme, to believe he's an FSG shill. Presumably he only gives a false impression of Liverpool's finances to wind up the usual suspects in this thread.

In this thread recently, we've had one poster saying his analysis shows FSG's model is 'unsustainable' (he works in US finance so knows his onions, funny, I remember him posting that but under a different Username!) while another who presumably wanders around a field all day eating grass and lactating twice a day reckons he's no more than an FSG shill \ stooge \ plant, whatever.

This thread is like one of those science articles in the daily's where all the flat earthers jump on the comments going liar, liar, pants on fire, the Earth is flat cos I say so!

He generally only does other clubs at the end of their financial year. But with Liverpool he does it at the end of each transfer window

Since the start of August he's done an overview of Ligue 1 and Serie A, the WSL, a deep dive into PSG and how they can afford Messi, a look at wage bills amongst 98 clubs in the big 5 leagues, The impact of Covid in the premier league, higher level breakdowns of clubs showing 10 year trends for Juve, Inter, AC Milan, Roma, Norwich, Ipswich, Leicester, Everton, Wolves, West Ham, Newcastle, Leeds, Utd, Tottenham...but sure.

Dont let actual facts get in the way of anything! And he specifically said he'd done one on Liverpool at this time because some fans comments on lack of transfer activity.

The fact he did one 'at the end of this window' is immaterial as well seeing as he used the club's last release set of abreviated accounts published around Feb \ March this year.

Be interesting to see where peoples socialist principles fall in that survey (as flawed as that survey is).

Will the results heavily skew towards Super League/Ticket prices and making football more affordable or will it be transfers transfers transfers.

Pretty sure you know the answer.

Ticket prices first for me even though I'm not a matchgoer any more but also doing their best on transfers. Business is all about creating a balance.

Newcastle takeover looks as though it's about to go through. There's the 4 CL spots taken up in about 3-5 years.

Super League is the only way forward realistically, although it might have to go hand in hand with a significant change to domestic football - if one good thing comes from the fallout this time around, it’s that it might be possible to go without the likes of Man City when the inevitable happens.

I don't even think that would change anything. It's not like it would have rules in place like FFP, so although we'd definitely have more cash, so would everyone else, and they've got owners far more likely to allow said cash to be way over spent. Then because we have all the extra cash, buying players from non-SL clubs would be like our current English player tax, on every player in the world.
