He’s been hurting badly since he lost Calvert-Lewin in the footy manager draft. Leave him alone.

Martial has out performed him.

This is where John Henry and FSG have to come out and state that all financial penalties incurred will be covered by them rather than the club. As Henry himself said in his statement, it had nothing to do with those at the club so those at the club should not be made to bear any of the consequences. If they stay quiet, or if they intend to do the opposite only to later backtrack, it would simply be another PR own goal by an organisation that is unfortunately well versed in PR own goals. Get it right from the get-go.

Very true.

I see SOS have asked Billy Hogan to confirm this. Kronke has already said he’ll cover the costs, not Arsenal.

There was a lot of this type of fan positivity around the fan forum or whatever the fuck it was called, the aim of which was to make fans think they had a voice while silencing the loudest voices such as SoS. Hopefully SoS are not being had off. But it's happened before.

Isn't this exactly the same kind of thing as that?

What happened to it last time, did they just let it fizzle out and then pretend it never happened?

It seems to me to be similar, but SoS seem to be claiming they get an ability to veto certain board decisions - but they say something like "such as the ESL". They make a point that this is LFC and not FSG board, but we are led to believe that Billy Hogan and the rest of the UK board were completely in the dark aboit the ESL and that all happened in Boston. So surely FSG could just do the same again down the line? It always seems to me the board in the UK are no more than a senior management team who's job it is to squeeze every penny out of the system commercially. All the big decisions are made in Boston - if that's the case (which has always been the picture painted, including this latest debacle), it seems this Supporters Board will be completely and utterly bypassed.

Personally it all feels like what has gone before every single time FSG fuck up. They come back, spin some PR and our fans accept it as the most don't want to believe they're a bunch of greedy cunts with no interest in the club or the sport.

SOS \ the fans board or whatever people want to call it will deffo not have the power to veto operational decisions.

Yeah, and the idea that any new owners can’t change it because of a ‘constitution’ is pure fantasy. Owners of a business can do what they want, including having their directors vote on whatever they want. So… hmn.

SoS are being had off if they think they'll have any sort of input into any important decisions the club make.  Any decision where they agree with the club will be purely coincidental.

Or more to the point they will somehow be conned into being complicit in those choices.

Dunno, but either way, the club will do exactly what the owners want it to do. No doubt, they'll be more circumspect, but it will be business as usual despite the fan representation.
