Well we know what sort of owners we have now, Kenny will always be the King no matter what. Sad to see him bow out in this manner.

If Kenny gets one full season and gets ditched it is going to take a man with broad shoulders. No job for a noobie to contend with.

Has Ayre gone as well?

No DoF and Valero supposedly back, it all smells a bit Rafa. Almost sounds like they're considering some kind of a Benitez/Martinez DoF/manager combo?

Good statement from Kenny, dignified to the last, i hope his name is sung louder than ever first game of the season. The sad fact is he'll probably not want to overshadow a new manager and stay away from the games.

No it;s not. This club, as a whole, has failed for far too long.

This a Ground Zero moment, like a cleansing bolt from Valhalla, FSG are doing this in the best interests of the club and you, and I, should back them for doing it.

We haven't been good enough, a lot of people have failed with considerable resources at their disposal. This is what happens in big business if you fail, you get the big stick.

Completely shocked but completely agree with your sentiments. Looks like they wanted to keep him at the club but couldn't. If you are right lets hope they are bringing in people of the very highest quality all over the place. May have hand someone (like Dein?) directing their hand over the last couple of months - pure speculation tho.

Dont get it, the players are the ones who have let Liverpool down, Kenny's the one who got us playing entertaining football again, even when we were losing we were playing well and we had enough chances in ever game to win it. Why does anyone want Benetez back the football he played was boring as fuck an he went out to not lose the game, any big name will want 200 million to spend so it looks like rogers or martinez but will they get a year an a half like Kenny did an dont forget how long ferguson got before he got it right an look at them now.

I like Lambert too but again it would maybe be a bit too early for him.

The problem with a Martinez/Rafa combo is that the DOF is supposed to be a mediator!

Plus - and while I think Rafa is unfairly slated for his transfer performance - his biggest strength was arguably his tactical nous, the one area that a DOF - if there is one - has no input. I think this particular theory can be nipped in the bud straight away. It'll be Rafa OR Martinez (or A.N.Other of course), not both.

Good statement from Kenny, no less than I would have expected of course.

Fenway's Liverpool have no manager, director of football, head of press, or new stadium plan

Lets be honest, FSG have been fucking shite. Minimal net spend, letting the manager take the heat for the Suarez/Evra debacle, no funding in January for a squad that so obviously needed strengthening and most importantly no stadium plan at all.

Time for them to go.

We should sail a ship full of tea into Boston harbour, and at gun point force the cunts to buy it at an extortionate price.

That wouldn't work that ship would be rudderless aswell so it would just go round and round in the mersey.
