Reminds me of when we replaced Rodgers with Klopp somebody on here said it was like replacing Shakin’ Stevens with Elvis, which I thought was good.

Your occasional reminder of the insanely high expectations Liverpool fans had about Klopp when he was appointed - only for him to blow right past them.

I genuinely got sad when I heard the news, as much as I 'hate' him he's been a fixture in my childhood, teenage years and adult life, mostly ruining it the cunt, but it shows people are mortal and he'll go as well one day and it'll bring down a whole memory system and history with him.

Agree. To quote one of our less successful managers, he really was a formidable opponent.
