1 - Gerrard; looked close to full fitness again, and was dangerous throughout. Hat-trick was fully deserved, and the commentator said it's the first hat-trick by a Red at Anfield for over 70 years, so well in.

2 - Suarez; again did everything but find the net. His record with both Ajax and Uruguay suggests a player with composure in front of goal, and that has been the one thing missing from his game here. He doesn't get enough goals for a player of his ability.

3 - Considering he was up against Jagielka and Distin, he acquitted himself superbly and was impressively dominant against them. Like with Suarez, he was missing a bit of composure tonight but his all-round effort and link up play were a vast improvement.

Reina, Carragher, Skrtel and Spearing were very solid and steady. Enrique, Henderson and Downing all looked better than in recent weeks, and Kelly was fantastic and deserved a goal.

Something missing here??

Gerrard

Saurez

Kelly

I thought Kelly played a stormer and Johnson has a job on his hands, although they both pick up injuries but right back is well sorted.

Mention to Enrique as well he had his best game in a while, only the slip from Hibbert was his only blemish on a very good performance.
