Everyone seems hung up on the fact that these people get paid.  Wait until you all realise that the charity adverts in the papers and on telly are paid for - Minds. Blown.

Actually, I did experience an aggressive SHELTER chugger on my lunch break in the West End, who wouldn't let me pass whilst he told me about homelessness and why I should be giving him money. This was despite me saying I worked for a homelessness charity and knew about the problems. Having worked that morning with distressed people with mental health problems, him accusing me of not caring was a bit annoying. When pressed he also knew fuck all about homelessness and could only recite some soft facts from his script. So yes, it felt a bit like being mugged by an annoying T4 presenter.

I’m regretting saying that I could murder a cup of tea earlier. That fish I battered yesterday might cause me problems too.
