Fabio Capello is a racist

Have had a few to drink, but isn't that a bit out of order? Or is that really the case?

I've lived in Spain, Italy and Thailand. In all three I regularly heard people talking about how they don't like black people. Regularly and unashamedly. Thailand was worst for it. Always made me laugh in Spain when they are bred from Moors over hundreds of years.

They are nothing compared to the old Eastern block mind.

How regularly? In my experience racism is no more prevalent in Italy than it is in this country. I was living with a mixed race Italian girl when I was working there and not once did we encounter racism.

I liken Capello's defence of Terry to Kenny's of Suarez, which is the FA have no jurisdiction to act judge and jury on a mans innocence or otherwise. Yet again they've prejudiced a fair trial and I wouldnt be surprised to see this raised in Terry's defence.

Italians are not racist. Fascist elements may remain ingrained within sections of their society though.

That Capello is still national coach in the midst of every single fat cockney hack trying to plot his downfall on the basis that he gives interviews to Italian media in preference to the London comics and that he isn't Harry Redknapp, gives me a warm glow.

Here's the record of all the English managers:

Manager England career Played Won Drawn Lost Win %

England Walter Winterbottom 1946–1962 139 78 33 28 56.1

England Sir Alf Ramsey 1963–1974 113 69 27 17 61.1

England Joe Mercer 1974 7 3 3 1 42.9

England Don Revie 1974–1977 29 14 8 7 48.3

England Ron Greenwood 1977–1982 55 33 12 10 60.0

England Bobby Robson 1982–1990 95 47 30 18 49.5

England Graham Taylor 1990–1993 38 18 13 7 47.4

England Terry Venables 1994–1996 23 11 11 1 47.8

England Glenn Hoddle 1996–1999 28 17 6 5 60.7

England Howard Wilkinson[1] 1999–2000 2 0 1 1 0.0

England Kevin Keegan 1999–2000 18 7 7 4 38.9

England Peter Taylor[2] 2000 1 0 0 1 0.0

You have to remember this bloke is also a credible choice!
