This is an amazing version of Nitin Sawhney's Sunset. Really, if you like people putting sounds in interesting orders then you should like this:

I've seen Sawhney live lots of times, and spoken to him on a few occasions. His eclecticism means that he is a bit hit and miss, but when he's good he's really good. Nikki Wells' voice is lovely, and she's not averse to chucking in a few French language songs into her set. Every Indian I know says she is very convincing in stuff like this. Apart from trying to get my head around the scales and tunings, I don't know a huge amount about Indian music - though my son is well into it.

Just got this on your recommendation on the Nick Cave thread. I like this.

Tim Armstrong's been posting all sorts of old/acoustic/folky covers of tonnes of songs, it's a very mixed bag, but I really like this version of Black Derby Jacket (one of my least favourite Rancid songs because Freeman sings it and can't pull it off).

and I really love this Brown Eyed Girl cover (Not quite acoustic mind...).
