At what point do all these early withdrawals impact on the four CL spots?

 

At least a couple of seasons, if not more. It took Italy ages to lose their fourth spot to Germany which won't kick in until next season. The ranking position at the end of this season will decide who gets the four spots in 2013-14, but as England are still on top now and Italy are far behind in fourth place by 23 points it won't matter unless it's repeated over at least the next couple of seasons.

just read that Van Persie is 28, thought he was younger than that, if he doesn't leave this summer he is a fool

 

He's dragging his feet on a contract extension, and he signed his last one in 2009, so I reckon that he's off in the summer... as going by Arsenal policy, he'll have one(or two) year(s) left on his contract.

 

I could see Chelsea being VERY interested, judging by how fucking shite their #9 is...
