I am sick of square pegs in round holes and would much prefer if we just bought a right winger to play on the right wing. Simples. Fulham appear as though they are about to land quite a coup - Luciano Narsingh and Oussama Assaidi from Heerenveen for a combined £10m.

 

Narsingh has been the top provider of assists in the Eredivisie for the past two seasons and is the main reason Bas Dost has been banging in goals so regularly. He has good acceleration over the first few yards, great balance which allows him to wriggle away from players by changing direction quickly but most of all he is fantastic at picking out players in the box. He has been called up to the provisional Dutch squad for Euro 2012 and looks great value at that price particularly as he is only 21. Exactly the type of player we should be taking a chance on. Imagine a winger who took on full backs and provided an excellent delivery.

 

Oussama Assaidi is very skillful too and is a full international for Morocco - great bit of business by Jol if he pulls it off.

We need to sort out what is happening at the club. Are we going to make any signings before a new DoF? We should really be moving now, before our competitors.

Don't know anything about the two players but buying Dempsey alone would be a terrible purchase. Average to good players aren't going to improve us.

I've seen complaints of other clubs stealing a march on us in the transfer market; so what! Do we need an M'Vila? Do we need a Vorm? The transfer-market isn't the Cannonball Run; to see what club can sign first, or how many.

 

We need another striker and someone for the right side, minimum, and I've heard that we've been scouting Jackson Martinez(Fd) and Gaston Ramirez(Rw), and haven't we already seemingly put off David Texeira(Fd). So that doesn't seem like we're asleep at the wheel.

 

Aquilani seems set for a return, Danny Wilson (a forgotton decent player) should return too for Carra's (imho) imminent (semi)-retirement.

 

So I don't see much cause for concern, except for undue panic amongst know-all fan-base.

whilst they are both decent players if it happened we'd be the only club around who'd pay ten million for a player who couldn't get in the Juventus team and Altintop is just a squad player for where we want to and should be and we have enough of those

Im going to release my wishful thinking of this summer..

 

I am expecting Aquilani, Cole, Kuyt and Maxi to leave the club, and probably one of our midfielders. I think we will be in the market for the following positions:

 

Right wing options: Kevin Mirallas, Lee Chung-Yong, Ola John

 

Striker options: Stevan Jovetic, Welliton, David Teixeira, Jozy Altidore

 

Midfield options: Granit Xhaka, Moussa Sissoko, Etienne Capoue

 

I think all of these targets present good value for money when it comes to transfer fees and likely salary.
