I never noticed a lack of effort from Johnson before he went to City. I think he is a good player and could be a very good signing for us, but I wouldn't pay £15 million for him. I'd go to £12 million tops.

 

I'd not pay a jot over 14.9m. Not a fucking jot.

If City do buy another winger/attacking mid and Johnson will no longer be needed we should at least try to loan him first, no point in paying 15M (+ hefty wages) on a player a club doesn't really want. And he'll probably want to play for a top team but with United, Chelsea and Spurs already have a lot of players in his position we and Arsenal (doubt it) are only realistical options. That said, I wouldn't be too dissapointed with him but I'd rather we look abroad for cheaper options and with more potential.

 

Hopefully our scouts are present in at Euro...really like the two Ukrainian wingers..if not mistaken something Konoplyanka and Yermolenko...very fast..good dribbler...and quite young too.

Anybody know about their transfer price??
