I wouldn't get too worked up about it. We have bigger issues than Andy Carroll

Milan's skint. Just like most Italian clubs. They wont take Carroll. At most they'll bid 8mil, or try to take him on loan and pull out at the end of the period, and I dont think ANYONE at the club is stupid enough to fall for the loan move after the Aquilani debacle this year.

 

For better or worse, we're stuck with Carroll for at least two years in my opinion.

 

I'm more concerned about getting rid of players like Downing, Adam and Spearing.

From Rodger's interviews he seems quite intelligent, so I doubt he'd be stupid enough to say we will sign an exciting player and then go and get dempsey(unless the exciting signing will be done later in the window and we got dempsey this week).

its not that dempseys not good. hes ok but his playing style is similar ot carroll and ibrahimovic. as good as ibra is I wouldn't call him exciting. so I dont think the exciting signing will be a dempsey type player
