We should not buy wide players without pace, at this point... Bellamy, in particular, has really showed how much we've missed a pacy player out wide.

Bellamy remains as quick now as he was at any stage in his career. Who knows, he may even have Giggs-level longevity. Brilliant, brilliant signing.

the Giggs longevity is a load of bollocks to be honest, he is still a very good player but he past his peak about 8 years ago and is nowhere near what he was

Bellamy has got better as he has got older

Yep, which is a credit to him. I never thought much of him early in his career, he looked really average with Norwich and Coventry.

He was good at times for Newcastle but I thought he didn't fit Rafa's tactical rigidity during his first spell with us. He was absolutely fantastic for City and we lucked out getting him back again after Cardiff.

Well he was basically a kid at Norwich and Coventry. There seemed to be a view at the time all young strikers should be like Owen. Think it may be true that he played his best football for city. Don't forget Blackburn too.

He's had to readjust his game definitely. But there's been so many times when he's been their best player on the pitch. Definitely not bollocks.

he seems to turn it on in all the big games which isn't a bad feature to have but media/fans saying he is still world class is a load of shit
