Another mass shooting inspired by religion. Not being mentioned though.

Why's that, do you reckon? We're all so deeply religious that we support the shooting, or at least are willing to turn a blind eye to shootings because of our religiousness?

Shame you've got me on ignore because I'm so unbearable, I'd really have liked an answer to this one. In short, what the fuck are you on about.

Yikes!

I think it’s important to note that the words of one visiting imam (do I need to give my full views on him here or can we assume I think his words and views are gross?) doesn’t necessarily represent the entire mosque or their worshipers. A politician or a footballer supporting or praising work the mosque has done shouldn’t be instantly linked to some backwards twat and his views on what the Qur’an says. We don’t want to get ‘oh, you think the Mosque feeding the poor is good? You must want to kill homos’ territory.

Fair point, well made.

Religion - a nice little earner if you know the right people. Let us take comfort in knowing the Plymouth Bretheren are hoovering up lucrative government contracts and having certain Tory MP’s lobbying for charitable status on their behalf (see Wikipedia for that bit).

A thread.

My mums cousin was a member of the Plymouth Bretheren, he was effectively brainwashed. Apparently he used to stand outside the Harland and Wolff shipyard, bible in hand, preaching to workers as they came out. He suffered with depression for years afterwards.
