It's really odd that his filmography is so sparse. Well maybe not since he's never seemed interested in working away from his mates much and even then his best work is always about putting a smile on the face of a bastard. A charming, friendly, charismatic smile usually obscuring the capricious and cynical face underneath. The vile Jack Lint in Brazil, the animal-loving, inept assassin Ken Pile in A Fish Called Wanda and the smiling, jovial administrator for the crucifiction in The Life of Brian (best 'one-scene' character in the whole film).

 

Maybe he's one of those lucky rarities. A great talent able to do exactly what he wants throughout his career, whether it be travel-show presenter or torturer for a dystopian agency.
