What some people forget about Nasser Hussein is that he didn’t speak English at all at the age of 14.

Unfortunately none of us are allowed to forget that he hardly speaks any now.

Takes himself far too seriously and hasn't quite grasped he's no longer England's captain and just taking a sabbatical with Sky,

Yeah, if we try that against Khan, Ashwin or Lyon we'll be made to look very stupid - I imagine we wouldn't, to be fair. Fine against someone like Bracewell, who is no better a bowler than Root.

So few decent test spinners. They're all playing 20 over shite - Hasaranga, Zampa, Shamsi, Nasum Ahmed, Santner, etc.

Shane Warne turning in his grave at the likes of Bracewell .  I agree we won't bat like that against better spinners but Root especially won't be able to help himself at times. Anyway mustn't whinge , first time for ages I've watched and enjoyed a test series . Bairstow was just awesome in the last game.

Zak Crawley keeps getting out to the same drive - he's become the definition of a flat track bully, I'm afraid to say. The same intransigence, or lack as variety, as Dom Sibley (albeit Sibley being a legside only scorer). Fielding teams know they can tempt the former, and restrict the latter.

Yes, in the last test. He's recovered but not enough to have full mobility. Stokes said he is still first choice w/k, though.

Thanks, would have been very harsh on him (again) to have been dropped for playing reasons.
