Some bad cricket from both sides, SA bowled pretty bad and we decided to gift them wickets. Still feel if we bowl well on this wicket that we could get a win to take the series, early pressure and a few wickets is key.

If Adam Voges retired now he'd have the highest average in test history. I always thought he was a bit shit.

I'm still pissed at him for his limp-wristed efforts when the Ashes were still on the line. Now he's cashing in to ridiculous amounts against sub-standard attacks on roads from the comfort of #5.

He couldn't do much more than he has since surviving the cull post-Ashes to be fair, but there are massive question marks over him next time the pitch is doing something with a bowler who can actually exploit it.

Speaking of Voges (sort of)

http://www.cricket.com.au/news/darren-lehmann-no-ball-fix-icc-cricket-committee-third-umpire-technology/2016-02-16

They really need to get the 3rd umpire adjudicating on all front-foot no-balls, allowing the on-field umpire to focus down the other end. It's ridiculous that technology can help reverse a non-call, but not reverse a call of 'no-ball'. Between that and the hotspot issue in Adelaide, the Kiwis can rightly feel dudded that technology was there to help get the decisions that would've helped them, but for whatever reason the wrong call was still allowed to stand.

Brendan McCullum with the fastest test century ever. NZ were 32-3 when he came in too. In his last series. What a legend.

Brilliant knock that's got them back into the game. He'd be fucking frightening to be against in that mood.

Honestly though, are most fast bowlers just thick cunts? Mitch Marsh should've had one of the best catches you'll see to his name, but repeat offender Pattinson no-balled on a wicket AGAIN. Massive fan of his but it's just incredibly poor, stupid cricket that's cost his team 100+ runs.
