Waitrose is lovely. Them mini scallops they do are epic

There are

At the other end of the spectrum swerve Lidl's fake weetabix.

Do not be fooled by the enormous size of the box , the biscuits explode into dust the moment you try and extract one. They are made from fresh air and desiccated hedge clippings . On the positive side I noticed that they are now stocking horse blankets which saves you that extra trip to the local Equine suppliers. Strangely very few of the clientele looked as though they might be shopping for a horse blanket

Asda's kitchen roll and bog roll are good, but they're not much cheaper than the brands these days. I've been trying out many and various own brand items recently and I think they're the only things I've stuck with aside from packs of cheesy balls and the odd pizza.

I like Asda. They're fruit and veg is definitely more tasty than Sainsbury's or Tesco and it's cheaper. I've heard Aldi's is even better but there's not one around where I live. They need to work on the layout of their stores though. Fucking hell.

Asda "create your own" pizzas are vile. The bases are are like a baked 1970's polystyrene ceiling tile. The toppings are cheap and nasty and they use cheddar. Cheddar on a pizza! It's meant to be mozzarella, you thick, cheapskate cunts.

Proper homemade tiramisu is lovely, supermarket versions not so much, though I haven't tried all of them. That said, Marks and Spencer's one is quite nice, as is their key lime pie.

Can anyone recommend a good quality shop bought tiramisu?

I've heard the M&S one is quite nice.

Very pleasantly surprised by Aldi's Vive Diet Cola. It's actually quite okay. A far cry from the days of Rola Cola and Panda.

Got something called VX Cola from there recently, 42p for a 2-litre bottle and it's not vastly different to Pepsi Max.
