The RVP situation is clear cut. It's a judgement call, the salute is there for all to see, make of it what you will.

 

None of us know what the exact nature of the Evra/Suarez allegation is.

 

There is no comparison.

Secondly, many people point with their whole hand rather than a finger, including me. When I'm playing football and requesting the ball, I'll point with my whole hand to my team mate.

 

People are becoming so PC it's actually quite funny.

Although I would be fairly surprised if van Persie supported a party that would kick his Moroccan wife out of the country. That would be one hell of a rocky marriage.

 

I don't think for one moment that van Persie was doing a Nazi salute to be honest; I just found the notion that Dutch people are immune to it highly amusing.
