Dalglish To Offer 'Flop' Carroll Back To Newcastle!

There is rumour on Scouseland that Kenny Dalglish is starting to realize that Andy Carroll is not going to make the grade at Anfield ... and he is considering offering the striker back to Newcastle!

 

 

The Liverpool manager made it quite clear yesterday that if he needs to add fresh faces to his squad in January he will do, and already the rumours have started that Newcastle United captain Fabricio Coloccini and free-kick star Ryan Taylor are on his wanted list.

Coloccini is out of contract at the end of next season and Newcastle boss Alan Pardew has admitted recently that there have been a few problems during negotiations.

The tough part will be to get Mike Ashley to part with £25m in a cut-price deal that would see Carroll return to his roots and the two defenders move to Anfield.

Kenny Dalglish is aware of the ongoing situation at St James’ Park and is looking at the January transfer window to strike a deal.

Is this wishful thinking from the Toons? I was wondering how long it would take before something like this to pop up, KD as said on a number of occasions that Carroll was for the long term.... But having said that is Carroll up to the task? would they be willing to pay 20-25m?:whoops: Edited by redsoxs

At the end of the season maybe we might have to consider selling him.

 

But he needs at least then to show whether he is good enough or not.

I'd rather we just got £20m if it meant not getting those 2 defenders as part of the deal.

 

If we do want to get rid, then Newcastle is probably the only club we could look to get more than £20m from. If we are to sell then the sooner we do it, the better.

 

Would still like to see him come good tho as he does seem to have great potential.

Read this on scouser-tommy the other day. I honestly hope it's true, he isn't good enough for where we want to be. He can't do anything, basically he's shit. I've no idea what they saw him in him but he's kept it a secret since arriving here.
