I don't think it's already been mentioned but the one where he decides to get that fat that the nuclear plant have to give him a job at home is hysterical.

 

I may be wrong but I'm sure that's the episode with the line "quick operator, give me the number for 911!" it's easily the greatest comedy of all time in my eyes. The fact that it appeals to all ages as well whilst being just so damn good for so long, there is nothing that compares.

Caught a bit of the Shinning last night as I was dozing off and it got me in the mood to watch the Simpsons Halloween episode. Probably the best Halloween episode I can think of off the top of my head. All three stories have lots of laughs.

 

Watched the one where Lisa gets braces the other day too. The entire 4th season is full of amazing episodes, but that is one of the best ever. They fit so much funny into 20 minutes. It has Batman, Grinch, Beatles and Godfather gags too. It's one of those episodes that I appreciated more as I got older, not that it wasn't funny to me as a kid, but that's a proper episode full of references and gags that were lost on me until I was about 16/17.
