Went to see ICE T and he brought out Darlene onto the stage, his wife from the album cover. I was at the very front literally feet away and I can still remember how hot she was. All killer no filler - nothing plastic about that woman.

Yeah she's rather niche. Massively plastic strangeness. 20 year anniversary though, so obviously doing something for the old pimp. Good luck to them.

Marvin Gaye ~ Mercy Mercy Me (The Ecology) 1971 Soul Purrfection Version

 

Wonderful acapella on the intro to this. I have heard a lot of MG and I hadn't heard this version before.

 

 

 

 

Here's the version you may be more familiar with and it really shows the effect the mix has on the final product. This one has a much broader soundscape and snares gated and added reverb etc.

Records like this depress me that I listened to that twat off Tomorrow's World telling me CDs where the future.

That and a Daughters boyfriend stealing/selling my entire lifes history of music buying. Most probably to Edwards. But hey, if you need your fix.
