Been listening to the 500 songs that made rock music lately and he has been covering Bobby Womack lately

Fair to say his personal life story is pretty fucked up

Hooking up and trying to marry Sam Cookes less than 2 months after his death and trying to marry her 77 days after in one of Sam's suites. Cookes brothers breaking his jaw and then 5 years after they got married she find him having a affair with her and Sams(Bobby stepdaughter)17 year old daughter.

Teddy Pendergrass, would have been 74 today. The documentary (that used to be on BBC I player) on his life and that whole Philly sound is something else. Safely fits into the  'they don't make em like that anymore' category.
