Wishere: to a PL club.

Beckham: back in 1960, wow what a great argument.

Ramsey: I`m sure the 5 games at Forrest and 6 games at Cardiff had a huge impact on his debvelopment, talk about being absurd.

Walker: after his loan spell at Villa, a PL club he finally was able to get his breakthrough at Spurs.

NEXT.

John Terry said in an interview in 2008 that going on loan to Nottingham Forest (who were the league below at the time) helped make him into the player he is today. The Nottingham Forest fans I know said that at the time he was the best thing since sliced bread.

Other examples:

Michael Carrick to Swindon and Birmingham

Teddy Sheringham to Aldershot and a Swedish second division side

Ashley Cole to Crystal Palace

Joe Hart to Tranmere and Blackpool

Code is almost as bad as Ant, who genuinely IS wrong about absolutely everything he ever proffers an opinion about.

Codey is just a mentally ill forum joke.

Daniel Bogdanovic scored twice as Jonjo Shelvey inspired Blackpool against rock-bottom Bristol City.

Dean Gerken spilt a shot from Shelvey that Gary Taylor-Fletcher slotted home before the new loan signing from Liverpool struck from 35 yards.

Pool keeper Matt Gilks made several fine saves before Bogdanovic converted a Brett Ormerod cross after 83 minutes.

Ormerod scored from six yards in injury-time before Bogdanovic converted a cross from Thomas Ince.

The result lifted the home side up to seventh in the table but the scoreline was slightly harsh on Keith Millen's City, who have picked up six points from their 10 Championship fixtures.

Gilks brilliantly denied Brett Pitman and Neil Kilkenny either side of half-time as City tried to force their way back into the contest.

But three goals in the final minutes of the match left the scoreline with a very one-sided appearance.

The flurry of late goals ensured Blackpool's biggest win of the season and extended their opponent's winless streak to seven Championship games.

Shelvey had only joined the Seasiders from Liverpool on Friday but he wasted no time settling into his new side.

He struck the Robins wall with a free-kick in the second minute and shot wide from long-range before his effort, spilled by the recalled Gerken, led to Taylor-Fletcher's opening goal.

Kevin Phillips shot wide for Pool after being played clean through but Shelvey was not so wasteful when he converted from long range after 66 minutes.

Sounds like he had a great game today

Shelvey has been messed around a bit by the club.

Comolli said they wouldn't sign players to curb the development of youngsters and then we sign Henderson and Adam for centre midfield - not really helping Shelvey, Coady or Spearing.

As a result Shelvey wasn't getting any football until this loan, which was a same. He played one game for the under 19s, but other than that he wasn't playing in the league cup, for the under 19s or the first team.

The loan will do him good and I hope he thrives like Wilshire did on loan.

Err... Adam is 26, and Henderson is 21. Both are more ready for first team football than Shelvey.

How is this being 'messed around'?

To be honest, if the keeper saves that, like he should, then it's an awful decision to shoot from there.

However, I'm a big fan of Shelvey, I think he's got something about him that makes him worth keeping hold of. I don't think he's figured out what kind of midfielder he is yet. When he does, and he gets 50 games in that position, then he'll turn into a very, very good player.

Defensive mid, or attacking mid, or box-to-box mid?

He's going to have to specialise soon or he's going to enter into the realm of Jermaine Jenas and all them types who promised so much but were never trained to play a specific position, and are now just journeymen midfielders, capable of doing a basic job in every position but never excelling in any.

So an attacking player can be told time and time again the things he has to work on in training by the manager, he can then show that he is doing these things in training and in reserve matches. Good, you say. Pity the reserve league is shit.

So what else you reckon we should do? Put him in the first team to let him continue to learn in full media spotlight, ahead of senior players in games we must win? Send him on loan to a mid table, or lower half of the premier league side? One that will put 10 men behind the ball and get a spanking every other week I might add. Quite how this will facilitate his development in attacking when he will just be sitting there getting hammered every week.

Or, option 3, put him in an attacking side, in a league where there is all the crowds, attendances and expectation of the premier league, but outside of the media spotlight that the premier league is. He won't be 10 men behind the ball, he's with a team that has a nice attacking philosophy and a team that will win more than most, aiding his development on the things he has been told to work on by Kenny.

You have to think when you have a player going on loan of the reason why he's going and what he's going into.

A loan move to a shitehouse mid/lower table premier team like Stoke for Shelvey would be shit, because they don't play the type of football a player like him would thrive in. They don't play the sort of football Kenny would have him playing when he comes back, Blackpool do play this way and they play in a competitive league which is much better than playing with the reserves, against, and with players who are not ready for first team football, discarded or just returning from injuries.

I would like examples of Code being right about ANYTHING. If Kenny does the opposite of what Code suggests for every game we'll win the league!

It would take up several pages, try and find something where Ive been wrong instead.
