For those of you who like TV series, or more accurately, American TV series.

And if you like American TV series, then you'll like Dexter, it's ace.

And Dexter is made by Showtime, and they love it.

And Showtime are now about to show the series called Homeland, and it looks ace.

American soldier, returns to USA after years spent 'missing' in the Middle East.

He comes home, hero worshipped.

Clare Danes suspects something is up.

Is he converted and about to do something very nasty?

Homeland.

I found it on WarezBB the other day. Is airing next month, but first episode is out now.

I dont normally go for US terrorist based stuff but this has potential and reminds me a bit of Rubicon, which I liked a lot.

I hope the irony wasnt lost in the first few minutes where the leading female character drove past a sign saying 'George Bush Intelligence Centre.'

As I say it has potential so I'll keep watching.

There was also a scene which reminded me of Withnail's post about 10 years of mariage on the GF.

Episode 3 opened up a bit more of a storyline but its looking like the same thing they are using in almost every US show now regarding the terrorist angle.

Can you elaborate on that?

I'm just getting a bit bored of almost every us crime/semi serious show playing this middle eastern terrorist angle since 9/11 and 9/11 has been the only terrorist atrocity committed by anybody outside of the US,some even believe the planning actually came from inside or at least the finance.

I'm just saying its a little too easy to blame the arabs for all the terrorist stuff and not look at a wider conspiracy.

Warning! The following content is NOT WORK SAFE. Click the Show button to reveal.

It now seems that the house bought by the airport is going to be used to hijack or blow up airliners based on the last episode.

Not even sure where to start with that, to be honest.
