Season 2 starts with 90 minute opener on AMC Oct 16. Looks like FX have it on this side of the Atlantic in October too which is good.

 

I'l watch it but not sure how good it will be. Had really been looking forward to the 1st series but after a really strong pilot I though it was just ok and moved away from the comics when there really was no need. Since then Darabont has left as showrunner along with many of the writers so it remains to be seen what effect this will have on quality. There was also cost cuttung measures introduced with rumours of hearing the zombies rather than seeing them at times.

 

This season has thirteen episodes but they are only showing 7 from October with the remaining 6 starting in mid Feb.

Agreed. Interested in seeing the second series of this. I enjoyed the first couple of episodes of series one and then they got all emotional and shit and focused on a love story rather than zombies, so I was forcing myself to watch it.

 

On a slight tangent I'm also looking forward to the zombie film Brad Pitt is currently filming.

Yea I have mate but it's upstairs, I'm not that bothered waiting a few days for it though. Lining up for a good few weeks, walking dead, boardwalk empire, terra nova and I'm back on the Sopranos after losing my way with the DVDs , the show has caught me up on Sky Atlantic now.

Zombies are ace! The deviation from the comic was annoying but season 2 looks like its following the story. World war Z was an awesome book so should be quality.

Terra Nova is pretty good but something tells me it will go the way of lost and decent into farce

It's really shit don't you think? Poor acting, poor storyline. Not sure what audience they are trying to target with this one. Too much lovey dovey family shit and the dinosaurs are way too well behaved. Not a narky T-Rex in sight.

It's the concepts that suck you in and then If you stay for around 3-4 episodes your'e fucked and you become like I was with Lost, a gibbering mong drooling at the tv
