What did the impaled bloke say? I watched it back but couldn't hear.

Apparently this is what was actually said.

Nicholas (to Aiden): 'You left them, we both did, it's who were are. I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry'

Aiden (to Glenn): 'It was us. The others before; they didn't panic. We did, it was us.'

Felt the same until the horse last week. That was horrific. And then the revolving door stuff this week which again was horrible. Thought Glenn's reaction to it all was superb too.

Is it mainly in shock value territory now though? Like Sons of Anarchy?

I know it's a grim backdrop but surely it needs 'some' light moments or at least a change of pace/scene.

That's why I quite liked season 3 with the Governor and Newbury.

I reckon we are in for a good episode next week. That Deanna isn't going to be best pleased after her son got wasted, especially now it looks like she's starting to regret putting all Ricks gang in important roles. Even more so after that priest tried to grass them up.

Might be in for a bit of a scrap.

They obviously can't stay there for too long, it would be pretty boring if they just lived in a safe area for the rest of the series, so a barney is bound to happen sooner or later.

Don't really think its shock value, its just a reminder that it's a fucked up world where black people are more likely to die than white. Quite an astute reflection on today's America. Where zombies were once a reflection on mass consumerism they are now the police and army of the world where they indiscriminately maim and kill. Plus you can't trust religious folk, they'll cover their own arses before anyone else.

The vicar is a cunt. The townspeople can fuck off, too. Kill em all and take the place. Don't kill the blond though. Rick needs somebody to balance on his balls.
