Anyone live there? What's it like I'm looking at moving to there. Is it cheap area like rental wise. Reason I ask is my mate is possibly going to be working at the Grovener he's said there's loads of places near there he's asked me if I wanna go halves on a place. I've said ill have a look I still have the choice of Scotland but my mate who is going to Chester has said hell pay the deposit. And I can pay him back in bits. I've never been but heard nothing but nice things about it.

Chester races is ace. Been numerous times and never had a bad day. Nightlife is good also. And plenty of rat kicking about. What's not to like?

I like chester, don't live there but have spent quite a bit of time there with work and think it's nice. Few shitty areas around apparently, notably Blacon, but the centre is a lovely looking place. I've heard people say it's rough on a night out too but have never seen any evidence myself, but then like you, I spent a lot of my going out years in the likes of Warrington, so my concept of rough differs from some people's.

I go to the races each year in chester and think its a nice place or at least the centre of town is.

Some parts are a bit snooty but its a nice enough place to walk around and shop,if you do that sort of thing.
