Only been in the Anny Road a couple of times the last time being the CL game with Benfica at the back of the lower tier, and went home not quite sure what the score was.

I would say my best memory  of Anny Road was watching it kick off from the kop and Brucie going wild on get in to them.

I wasn't sure which thread to chuck this in. But the Sandon "block" is up for sale. The club use it for a junior hospitality still I think, so I'm guessing the current owner is trying to get out before that loss of revenue hits them.

The Mosh will buy it, then they own all of Liverpool.

And to be fair, i do think it has a blue plaque outside as the birthplace of Everton or something. *Leave to Google that one*

It seems it wasn't a real one. It was an Everton one..to go with their firsts I guess. And this is the only reference I could find.

My favourite memories of that place are probably when it was the picture house. I had a better strike rate at getting my dick wet there than probably any pub ever!

has anfield road been re-routed yet or will that only happen at the end?

Only at the end. Looked at an aerial photo of it yesterday and you can see the outline of the new road which basically touches the car park but it's all just dirt at the moment.

Will look impressive when it's all finished.

When I'm in the Lower Kenny, you sometimes get a decent noise from the Anny Road and I just think "I can't wait until there's a few thousand more of you beautiful bastards".
