It would have been five years ago, but knowing his injury history it's not that bizarre now.

 

I disagree. He's just turned 30. And while the past 2 seasons have been largely forgetful for him - in 2009 he managed nearly 40 games for Valencia, scoring 10 goals.

 

If the worst of the injury problems are behind him - Brighton have really pulled it off there. He was/could be again/still might be* a fucking immense player.

Switched on SSN for the first time today, forgetting that Jim White was on. He's taken his Viagra and Red Bull early it seems, practically creaming his pants over the fact that Celtic have just signed some unknown left back on loan from somewhere I didn't quite catch (what with not being at all interested). Feel sorry for Natalie Sawyer sitting there between White, Dave Bassett and Iain Dowie.

 

I thought when people claimed folk from Stoke as being inbred, it was just typical regional banter. However, having seen those people behind the SSN reporter at the Britannia Stadium, I reckon there may be more than a grain of truth there.

Why the fuck would he do that with 30 minutes to go unless its all set up for him??

I thought he was injured and was not playing and he also helped Suarez score again Arsenal.

 

This makes zero sense.

I don't think we get to hear the news the instant it happens, I'm guessing the club knew ahead of time but chose when to release the information.
