He's one of them when he's fanning about between the CMs.  He should be the one linking the play.

He makes everything too slow, his whole role seems to be take it off one centre back stem forward 3 yards and pass it backwards or play 5 yard balls to people who are marked. Plays well when games are open but doesn't have the game intelligence to play against park the bus teams. Same can be said of Emre.

This. When it's more huff and puff against stronger opponents those two are not too bad. In games like today they simply dont have the quality required. Especially Can, his tactical awareness is really substandard.

He's shite. Look at the "influence" he had at 2-3. Nothing. Sure he can pass the ball sideways and "control" the game when the side is doing OK but he's about as inspiring as a lump of dung.
