Based on yesterday's performance, Shelvey should start the next u21 game. Flanagan looked a bit nervous at first but grew into the game and Henderson looked assured all game.

Dawson's a real handful at set pieces but defensively wasn't tested. His centre back partner Caulker looked a bit dodgy, maybe it was nerves.

Wickham did nothing of note, although why Pearce moved him out wide, I've no idea. Sordell showed more in his brief spell as sub and should have scored; He's definitely one to keep an eye on.

Totally agree with you about Sordell. His movement and first touch were impressive although his finishing lacked composure.

Wisdom and Shelvey off. My stream is fucking awful so only really seen Shelvey's free kick, which was a very close effort.

How did Wisdom cope?

He was ok. We were never really put under any pressure, but they scored from a breakaway after a corner of ours - when both centre backs were up the other end. It was hardly a defensive mistake mind - the finish from the lad was tremendous.

2-1 to us now Sordell just cracked a stunner from outside the box.

Shame he withdrew Shelvey as he was settling in very nicely.
