I don't know how accurate those mock ups are, but I really like the home kit, the away kit isn't too bad. I know Adidas is a huge global brand, but all their football kits are all based on the same design. It'd be quite nice to have something original for a change.

They look like cheap polyester kits you would put a team of 10 year olds in.

Pretty hard to tell, considering it's an imagining from somebody who hasn't seen the kit. The eventual kit could be classy as fuck.

Both look cheap and shite to me.

They're in for a shock if they want 50 quid every summer for new tops out of people if they look like that and its worse material from what we're used to

Parents dont mind getting them cos of the amount of wear their kids get out of them but if its shite material and they go down the pan then they'll stop getting them

I would prefer the design on the right as the first home kit only in red obviously.

Never been keen on messing with the collar, stripes, or white flashes.

Keep it simple and traditional please

Which I think is what Warrior are trying to do. Keep it simple. The itks on RAWK are complaining that the designs are simple and boring. No pleasing some folk!

I like what they've done with the crest.

Remember this can all be bulls shit!

Exactly. As far as I can see they are nothing more than mock ups, I'm sure the actual designs won't be tacky or cheap. Warrior won't be forking out a record amount of money to produce a crappy kit, especially the home one.

I wouldn't worry too much about what the supposed ITKs on RAWK are saying. When word got out that we were to have a charcoal grey away kit for this season, one of those who claimed to have seen it sent a PM to another poster describing it in great detail. That poster did a mock-up and posted it on RAWK. It looked nothing like the final version (it had a light grey crew neck). All it suggests is that they don't know how to describe stuff, or that they're full of shit.

That mocked up home top looks very lower leagues to me.

Don't know what it is. Maybe its not seeing a Nike/Adidas/decent make badge on it. Can't put my finger on it.

Does it fuckin matter as long as it has a Liver Bird on it and the lads play their heart out in it I don't really care it won't effect my support of the team I love.

Spot on. Give it a season and no one will even notice and as long as the shirt doesn't spontaneously combust while Suarez is about to score a hat trick then I'm happy.

Regarding those that claim to have seen the shirt and that the material is cheap. That can be due to them either being just samples and not using the right material. Or its the right material and that they won't be selling them for £50.00. Remember America is in a recession like everyone else and they want this to work and rather than have shops full of shirts no one can afford why not try making it from less expensive material and 20 quid cheaper?

Just an idea

The shirts don't actually cost that much to make. Even for a company like Warrior that don't have the economies of scale that the likes of Nike or Adidas do, I reckon it would still cost less than £10 to produce the actual shirt. Football shirts have a massive mark-up, partly to cover the cost of all those sponsorship deals with teams and individuals, but mainly because enough people will still buy them regardless of price.

I thought it would be less than a tenner to be honest. I just think that in these harsh times that to sell the shirts for 10-20 quid less than the normal price would be a good gesture, would probably result in more being sold and would force the other teams to do the same.

I doubt Nike and Adidas would do this just because Warrior might. As long as people are happy to keep buying shirts at high prices - and with clubs announcing record sales every year it seems that they are - I don't see prices coming down any time soon, recession or no recession. The larger brands spend so much money on the sport and drive demand, they've effectively put themselves in a situation where they have to hope this trend continues.

"RAWK ITKs full of shit" would hardly be an unexpected juncture.

Never understood this desperate struggle to know what the new kit looks like before everyone else.

I cant see them altering the current club badge, the badge incorporates the shankly gates and the two eternal flames, they wouldn't want the controversy removing either would cause, it would be a mistake on their part.

i don't think there would be that many complaints if the shankly gates were removed from the badge, for the badge on the shirt i'd prefare a simple liverbird with the flame next to it.

Have wanted the old badge back for years. Would like them to incorporate the eternal flames on it though.

Will see if it's real in a few months I guess.

Football teams had to register their logo/crests so as to own the merchandising

So can't see the retro logo being used as that is too similar to the city's. Just like Manchester city had to redesign their crest as it was to close to the city of manchesters

Down here in London I see far more people wearing New Balance trainers than Adidas ones, so their marketing can't be too bad. I'm personally looking forward to seeing what they come up with.

Also as others have said, nobody solely buys a Liverpool kit because of who makes it or because it looks nice really, it's because they want to own the new Liverpool shirt.

Adidas has had its day imo, they are falling behind other brands and the effort they put in with us what non existent. They didn't even try with our kits and our current one is the worst of the lot. the quality of Adidas products is usually cheap and terrible, less and less people wear it, i include the Originals clothing lines too which are shit compared to 5 or 6 years ago.
