You've got to give them a bit of credit, haven't you. At least they're giving a go. Lovely kit, simple but not bland. Nice bit of 'iron will' chatter.

I really like it.

Primarily, because it is unique. Every fucking Addidas shirt looked exactly the same. Chelsea, Liverpool, etc.

Secondly, because as you said - its simple. Its not trying to be "edgy" and I love the fact that we've reverted to the Liverbird. The only thing I dislike is that we havent got the five stars above the badge. Hopefully they're somewhere else.

Thirdly - they have actually formulated a marketing campaign with some substance. Could you imagine Addidas ever doing this? Companies such as Addidas and Nike take a couple of pictures and put them on the net. Half hearted at best.

Haven't seen the kit properly yet and of course, only know little. But i'm glad because, despite their novice status, they seem to have really respected the fanbase by "giving it a go", as you said.

I see this said a lot and never understand, Chelseas Adidas kit and our Adidas kit couldn't look any more different and how is a plain shirt unique?

Adidas have various different designs. You get two/three/more clubs with the same design.

As for unique... well, not only are we their only football club, not many have a plain shirt like that. Fairly rare at the moment. Look at all the patterns and stuff on the other shirts in this thread.

Will we see any other gear tonight or will tracksuits, training stuff and other clobber appear at some other time?

I imagine that will come later. I'm looking forward to seeing the training gear too.

I don't remember any of our kit launches generating this much hype.

There's never been circumstances like this before. New manufacturer with no prior football experience and months of leaks of a return to the fucking brilliant classic badge have built the anticipation.
