Yeah, i think he knows exactly what he's doing though, being a twat serves his purpose, hes got a totally disproporniate media profile for someone of his playing ability which I think he loves even if it's bad publicity

Did Tevez commit an act that could be described as violent conduct? If on camera he would be charged, I've not seen anything so don't know. I only have Barton's word, so you can see why I'm sceptical.

 

If the first card is 3 with an extra one as it is his second, so 4. Does that mean the others will be 4 or does anyone think considering his tweeting on top he will get a few months off when the season starts.

He got a joke of a red card earlier in the season, but the FA didn't rescind it.

 

He was provoked into this second red card by Tevez throwing a punch at him, yet Tevez has been let off scott free by the FA.

 

So, as I said, difficult to see how the FA don't have a vendetta against him. In fact, you would have to be mentally ill to think he has been treated fairly.

I see you've managed to miss out the unprovoked assault on Aguero, the attempted headbutt of Kompany, and his catalogue of serious violent offences, none of which the FA were present for.

 

I think you'd have to be mentally ill to think anything other that this vicious little thug should face a very lengthy ban.

Without Barton's antics, City don't get Fergie time and they don't score two goals to snatch the title from Utd at the last minute. It's also quite funny when you consider the villain in this piece is also the 'hero' and an ex-City player. It's an orgy of irony. City fans should have a Joey Barton day.
