The Times caried some interesting background reports today with some intriguing implied criticism. It, sensibly, queried why Rooney travelled with the squad for the group games he was inelligible for (time consuming flights) when he could have been getting fit. it queried his "fitness regime" while he was on holiday between the end of the season and the Euros. it also queried his commitment to get fit whilst out there. All seemed valid points.
