Farridge tries to get his irrelevant racist grid back into the public eye by coming out as pro-drowning.

In the following 24 hours, the RNLI received  £200,000 in donations.

Which is nice.

Hmm I think a lot on the left are falling right into this trap. They seem to forget the golden rule that all publicity is good publicity. Theirs a reason Katie Hopkins keeps getting kicked out of places and their is a reason media organisations like the BBC  keep on reporting it.

Farage/Grimes/Hopkins etc just want publicity, any fucking publicity.

Farages show trounced both the beeb and sky the other night according to ex beeb presenter Alistair Stewart.

General election in Hungary is due next Spring and already it’s gone crazy. Can’t switch on a TV or watch YouTube without a political ad being thrown at you

Received  this email from Orban today

Dear Compatriot!

More than 1.4 million people expressed their views in the national consultation on life after the epidemic. I am writing to inform you of the decisions we have taken on the basis of the results of the consultation.

The credit moratorium has been extended until June 30, 2022

Those who are expecting and raising a child, retirees, public employees can still take advantage of the opportunity, as can businesses and individuals whose incomes have fallen significantly from the previous year.

We decided on the family tax refund

Next February, we will reimburse parents raising their children for their income tax paid in 2021 up to the average wage tax level. This is a tangible help in the lives of nearly two million of our compatriots.

We support our elderly compatriots

This year, retirees will receive a larger-than-ever pension premium of HUF 80,000. In addition, the construction of the 13-month pension will continue next February.

We will continue the policy of tax cuts

We are negotiating with the representatives of employers and employees on raising the minimum wage to HUF 200,000 and on the necessary tax cuts. Younger age groups can also count on government support: from January 1, young people under the age of 25 will not have to pay income tax.

The performance of the Hungarian economy was one of the first in Europe to exceed the pre-epidemic level. Following our decisions, the resumption of the economy will be felt by all Hungarians.

Hungary is still the first for us!

So far I’ve received an £8k house renovation grant this year that we’ve put against a new bathroom and windows for the daughter’s bedroom. They’ve allowed us to carry over and amalgamate the £2.5k of domestic benefits that I might have lost due to being unable to spend over the COVID period and the above mentioned tax refund for families should give us another £2k in February.

The Prosecutor's Office denounces the neo-Nazi leader for the hate messages launched during the rally that this far-right group convened in May in front of the Moroccan embassy.

The Provincial Prosecutor's Office of Madrid has filed a complaint against María Isabel Peralta Medina, leader of the neo-Nazi group Bastion Frontal, for a hate crime.

The complaint is based on the rally called by Bastion Frontal in front of the Moroccan embassy on May 18. During the rally, Peralta read a manifesto with which, according to the Prosecutor's Office, "he came to urge violence and hostility against Moroccan and Muslim migrants."

Peralta read a manifesto with which, according to the Prosecutor's Office, "he came to urge violence and hostility against Moroccan and Muslim migrants."

In this act he said phrases such as: "It is our supreme obligation to fight for Spain and fight for a Europe now weak and liquidated by the enemy. The enemy who will always be the same, albeit with different masks: the Jew."

The Prosecutor's Office acted ex officio for these statements, but the court in which the investigation fell filed the case, so the Public Ministry appealed this decision on the understanding that there was a hate crime and that "the existence of a criminal offense cannot be excluded without having carried out any investigative diligence." Since shortly after that act, Peralta Medina's Twitter account has been closed for "breaking the rules."

Now the Prosecutor's Office of Madrid files a complaint against her for the statements she made on May 18 at the rally held in front of the Moroccan Embassy and during which altercations were registered with five  detainees.

"The Prosecutor's Office also announced that same month that it would investigate this organization for the possible commission of hate crimes during an act of homage to the Blue Division held at the beginning of February and in which Isabel Peralta, then in charge of reading the manifesto of the call, also pronounced phrases such as 'the Jew is the culprit'", report from El Salto.

Why not let them in and process their claims humanly inside the EU?

Because border control for non-EU citizens has always been a matter for the country involved, same as it was for us when we were a member.

Ah OK. Dosnt seem really fair on the poles and those countries to the east that, I'd have thought EU members could have come up with something which shares the burden and makes the process a little easier but then the scale of peoples in such a short period of time probably caught them on the hop.

New law in Hungary that I can’t decide about. All supermarket chains over a certain value are now required to hand over all food to a charity when it reaches 48 hours before its best before date. Supporters claiming that it’s a good move towards eliminating the ridiculous levels of food waste whilst helping the poor. Opponents claiming it’s a protectionist policy against overseas supermarket chains

I think I mentioned on another thread how much it pisses me off the way the news narrative is all about those awful Belarusians treating these people this way, as though the Poles (and, by extension, the rest of the EU) aren't guilty of treating them exactly the same way.
