Thanks, I've just searched for it, seems to originate from a book by a Hermann Rauschning, from conversations he claims to have had with Hitler before leaving the party in 1934 and later the country.  It's authenticity appears to be disputed, but I don't know how convincingly.

He had socialists locked up and killed because he hated Marxism, but a lot of the entrants into Nazism in the 20's and early 30's were formerly radical leftists. The name National Socialist Workers Party was not ironic. They did see themselves as Nationalist Socialists.

To help a country rebuild itself. Once he got his power his ideologies changed dramatically. When people say 'Hitler' you don't think of a Socialist trying to rebuild a country. You think of him as the disgusting human being him and his party ended up being. 

 

You know that though Boss and comparing him and Corbyn is fucking ridiculous. Thatcher was closer to Hitler than Corbyn ever will be.

Hitler was such a socialist that the Nazi privatised every single industry except for war as soon as they gained they gained power. He was such a socialist the state gassed the poor and disabled, as opposed to support them.

 

The closest we have to Hitler in the UK at the moment is probably Nigel Farage much that it’s hard for you accept Boss.

True. Rohm was a National Socialist. He took the workers side in trade disputes and supported pickets. He wanted a second revolution based on the redistribution of wealth. That was the original plan. The SA was filled with socialist worker types. Rohm wanted to take over the German army which had 100,000 soldiers. I think the SA had something like 2,000,000 members.

 

Hitler liked Rohm, and he was one of the only people who could call him Adolf, but he was too revolutionary. He was hated by the German Army. Hitler did pardon him initially but ended up killing him. It was a National Socialist movement up until 1934 though.
