Amy Winehouse found dead

The people to blame are the politicians who make smack illegal and create the illicit market in the first place. Clean, unadulterated heroin is a pretty safe drug.

And that is why the clean legal dugs that wre prescribed to heath ledger have him running around the meadows of the swiss alps celebrating how great life is.

I take it you have never taken heroin and you have never met anyone who has been addicted to heroin.

the reason Amy Winehouse died was because Opium is a very dangerous drug, so clean pure uncut Opium is even MORE dangerous than heroin. The reason being as you buiild up a tollerance to the drug and you need more and more.

AMy Winehouse died not because the drug is illegal but because she was ADDICTED to the stuff, and as such it FUCKED HER UP, and the she DIED of a DRUG OVERDOSE!!!

When you go into hospital for an operation they give you opium. they also have a team of highly trained medical profesionals called an anesthetist. these watch you and monitor your vital sign as it sends you very close to the brink of DEATH.

So your argument that pure opium is really quite laughable.:drool:

Your argument made a fair bit of sense, until you dropped the above bit in. While it might be reasonable to assume this to be the case, how do you know this for sure?

Your words not mine, so don't try and argue with me by putting words in my mouth!

You said any life is worth the same as any other. Are you now retracting that in the case of Ghandi and Breivik?

she DIED of a DRUG OVERDOSE!!!

Did she? You must have a marvelous pre-cognitive ability to second guess the post mortem results like that.

Got to hate your smug tone, SD.

Can't the two of you fucking just ignore each other and save the rest of us having to read your boring squabbles?

What are you talking about smug? I posted testimony from government drug specialists, is backing up my points with expert scientific opinion not allowed now?

I had been hoping the boring little squabble was over, but apparently someone wants to reignite it. Don't even think of blaming me. He's going back on ignore.

Strontium Dogfucker, revenge-negger extraordinaire

Yes, you're so hard done by, poor silverlining. I'm sure all your little pals will be along now to provide moral support. Anus.

Thought she was massively over-hyped as an artist but it's still a poor do that she's dead and that waste of skin and blood Pete Doherty is still alive and kicking. Her dickhead ex-husband as well - that's two people I'd have cheerfully seen off to the next plane of existence ahead of her. She seemed to have a lot of people around her that were leeching off her fame and a few that genuinely wanted to help her but no-one can make someone change their life, the desire to do that has to come from within.

One thing I will say is that she wasn't one of these celebrity cokeheads that just let it get a bit out of hand for six months then do 2 weeks in the Priory and come out working on a book deal, she was a full-on alcoholic and drug addict with pretty clear mental health issues, she definitely wasn't playing at it. When you saw her in the papers falling around in the street, she didn't look like she was having much fun along with it and that's usually a good indicator.

The papers were pretty much relentless in their pursuit of her as well, I know I've read articles before that said they were camped outside her front door for days at a time which was hardly going to improve her state of mind.

I also think her record company should have released her from her contract, not as a punitive measure but because it would have been beneficial to both of them. In a time when CD sales are falling, record companies need their to artists to be producing music and touring to promote it, they're not a charity and I understand that but she's not been well enough to do either for some time. I read a few weeks back that after another shambolic performance she was having two weeks off to get herself right and I remember thinking that two weeks wouldn't make a scrap of difference to someone with problems as deep-seated as hers.

Oh and I would have fucked her a long, long time ago but not so much recently - her death doesn't change this.

27,another to add to the clun then

27 Club - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Someone has added her to the list on wiki

There are a hell of a lot of musicians that died at 27 and aren't on that list - it's usually considered to be a list of icons. I'm not sure of Amy Winehouse's place amongst the likes of Brian Jones, Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin, Jim Morrison and Kurt Cobain.

I wonder how many people who will say she was a smack head, and that she brought it on herself, will stand their and look up to the people who bring it into the country in the first place.

She is probably an easy target here, but I bet none of the people who slag her off would have the balls to slag the people off who put the stuff on the streets.

IMO it is quite cowardly.

That is the biggest load of fucking shite I've ever read.

Firstly when the fuck did someone point a gun to her head to force her to take drugs? The reason she was an easy target is because she was high as a kite most of the time completely off her face.

I met her in a London club once and she was absolutely wasted and this was when I got there, which was at the start of the evening.

I agree. I think we've agreed on this subject before. The evidence is overwhelming supportive of drug legalisation and sensible regulation.

No it isn't, you fucking cretin

You're both hideously wrong. I'll back Strontium Dog to the hilt on this one. Used in a controlled environment it is proven to be incredibly safe. People can even have fully functioning professional careers whilst having an addiction.

I mean, it's clearly incredibly addictive, but it's the problems outside of that addiction, which result from uncontrolled, unclean use of the drug that makes it so devastating.

Do we have any proof he isn't?

Stan: What the hell do you think you're doing?!

Cartman: A book signing.

Stan: I looked through your stupid book! It's 540 pages of ripping on Wendy and calling her a slut!

Cartman: I do not directly say she's a slut!

Stan: [reading from book] "Wendy Testaburger has proven time and time again that she will do anything to pleasure her vagina. Whether it is the school football team or the janitors on their break, Wendy spends her time as president on her knees or on her back taking the old in-out for hours on end!"

Cartman: [leans over the table and points something out to him] You didn't read the rest, dude.

Stan: [reading] "Or does she?"

Cartman: "Or does she?" See, that's a question.

I find it hard to have any sympathy with somebody who has everything to live for and decides to decline that opportunity on the day after 90+ norwegian kids had their opportunity to at least see the age of 27 wiped out without any say in the matter.

All loss of life is sad but taking hard drugs is a bit like playing chicken on the M6 during rush hour and doing it again and again puts you at greater risk I'm sure.

For what its worth I thought she had a decent voice but hardly worthy of legendary status tbh.
