Bus drivers

Recommended Posts

Is there anything more sexy than a gorgeous blonde operating mass public transit? Saw one today with long flowing blonde hair, manoevering her bus in and out of traffic, opening the doors to receive riders. Reminds me of a great poem I wrote, back in the 80's, the heady days of mass transit before low-interest car loans.

I was actually sitting on a grassy embankment overlooking the street when the bus drove by. It was one of those inspirational moments that are few and far between. Just lucky that I was cutting class and had paper and pen ready or the world would have missed out. I don't believe I was on anything, as apart from beer, scotch and missing classes I was a model student....

Often tried to come up with a sequel, like "The Tram" or "The Train" but never could.

Don't listen to hermes, NP, keep the poems coming.

I give it 9 out of 10 ( minus one point because i hate buses ).

Any verse about mass transit systems can only be a good thing ( except buses)

TL, if it's poetry you want give me a topic.

I once knew this guy from Stoke

Who desperately wanted a "coke"

No money he had

This story is sad

The guy was completely broke

So he set out on the way to this place

Where everyone looked to be gays

Boinking hard in a hurry

Way down there in Surrey

Salvation only lies in his prays

So he returned to his own little home

He sat there starved to his bone

no man of his dream

or a beauty queen

Just a sad confused bi all alone

How about a poem on Debauchery

Debauchery:

Drunken ferry boat woman

swayin' on your sea

if I turn on the gasfire

by the rain rattled window

won't you sail over to me

The hail storm tumbles

the rail line rumbles

you move in the porch with me

on an overcast day

the pale winter city

an afternoon's debauchery

Your blouse your skirt

I'll undo them so gentle

with beautiful care

I'm a lonely man

with five bottles of wine

I'd like you to share

The hail storm tumbles

the rail line rumbles

you move through the doors with me

on an overcast day

the pale winter city

an afternoon's debauchery

Orange street light

afternoon becomes night

you drink your wine from a mug

there's cats at the backdoor

the snow is two inches

you roll down your tights on the rug

The hail storm tumbles

the rail line rumbles

you lie on the floor with me

come closer my love

I'm badly in need

of an afternoon's debauchery

This is the lyrics of David Gray`s debauchery....

It's brown and hairy.

It has a longue tongue and plays with newspaper.

Yep, it's definitely a dog.

That was my poem Are you sure it's a dog?

I do like your poems Mr Patrick of the Nunavut variety, keep them coming.
