I thought Coady was the captain of this lot? Only just turned it on and Sterlings the only one of ours Ive noticed... anyone else on?

Coady plays for the u19s. Along with Shelvey, Wisdom and Ngoo (and maybe someone else I'm forgetting about).

I really hope Sterling plays games for us next season.

He scares the shit out of defenders.

The lad is only 16, and by the sounds of things is very immature. That's why he is being given time travelling with the squad on away trips and the likes.

I really doubt he will.

Yeah, I know. Its out of hope more than expectation, and I can understand why he won't.

But he is really really fucking good.

To be honest, whatever those at the Academy and over seeing the first team decide will only be the best for the club so I'm not arsed when he makes his debut. This season, next season or after that, we are run in a way that our long term future is more important.

Think it was after the Prague trip, the game at the Academy on the Saturday had Rodolfo constantly on at him. I think keeping him grounded is a major thing at the minute.

Looked to be in a fair bit of pain as well.

Sounded fucking horrible. Couldn't see it, like. What with this World Cup being filmed on a potato.

Was gonna say the same thing, watching this on Eurosport HD, and I know its in Mexico, but from the footage I've seen from yesteryear, Mexico 1970 had a better picture quality!

Nice to know that matches in Mexico are still scheduled for European peak time viewing. And they wonder why the stadiums don't sell out, or why players struggle through games played in stifling heat and altitude.
